There have been many questions asked of the Indian cricket team of the practice sessions that they seem to be missing. It is not a surprise that the side is giving up on the options practice sessions given that there have been many days between the two games and the heat would have started to pick up.
The cricket world cup game that India plays West Indies in will be played at Chennai, a city which is known for its heat. It will make much more sense to have only two or three such big net sessions with intensity rather than have more than them but without too much intensity – will not make too much sense.
It is obviously easy to criticise if the team does not do too well but the fans need to show some patience, some restraint in condemning a team which has done well in the recent times.
My sense is that while this team does not have it in them to win the tournament, they will get to at least the semi-finals.
